Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- The south Korea-U.S. military drill, now under way in south Korea, is a revelation of the U.S. policy for aggression on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the south Korean puppets' deep-rooted ambition for northward invasion.

The U.S. and south Korean war hawks have persistently resorted to war provocation moves against the DPRK since the ceasefire (1953) in Korea.

Over the past 60 years they have ceaselessly staged in south Korea exercises for preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK, with U.S. nuclear-powered carriers and latest nuclear war equipment involved.

The ongoing joint drill envisages precision attack at strategic bases, dismantlement of nukes and landing and surprise attack operation.

They dared work out a scenario to hurt the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership.

Some days ago, they made a "plan for jointly countering the provocation of a local war" and launched trainings in coincidence with the plan.

It is as clear as noonday that all military exercises, conducted by the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers under the signboard of "defence" and "annual event", are only for preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK.

Ji Ho Chol, an officer of the Korean People's Army, said: It is the U.S. and its followers that have driven the situation of the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch.

There is a limit to our patience.

Durable peace can be achieved only through a sacred war.
