IE Maximum Load Duration
There should be an option to select a maximum duration of how long it should take to download a URL.
In Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security > Maximum Load Duration, a setting should be available to prompt a message box that could be displayed when the download time limit has been exceeded.
The Maximum Load Duration > combo box could have the following data in it:
NO LIMIT
15 Seconds
10 Seconds
5 Seconds
2 Seconds
1 Seconds
.5 Seconds
.2 Seconds
.15 Seconds
.10 Seconds
.05 Seconds
.02 Seconds
.01 Seconds
When browsing the Internet, the message box would pop-up and ask, "This URL has exceeded it's download time. Do you wish to continue downloading this URL?", with YES/NO buttons that interrupt the Internet transmission.
There should also be a link to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security > Maximum Load Duration for those who want to change this information.
