My message to American Civil Liberties Union

Subj: Your message to American Civil Liberties Union Date: 6/27/05 8:33:06 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: GoinesLE@wmconnect.com To: GoinesLE@wmconnect.com Following is the information you entered on theAmerican Civil Liberties Union site Home Phone: (617)442-0046 Message: If the courts are being asked to review on a case-by-case basis, this inherently means that everybody does not have the same rights such as a majority (i.e. Catholic) against a minority (i.e. Atheist). The U.S. Constitution endorses checks and balances in government, whereas self-endowed religion takes favoritism by relics of their saints instead of a value of intension. Religion works on the premise that peace cannot be achieved except by equating peace as a tangible object to a lack of hostility. Judging religion on the basis of religion, as a conflict of interest, would be like the self-nomination of a judge instead of the Executive Branch's nomination, whereas the former is unconstitutional.
